Whilst watching an introduction video to the OCA.co.uk photography course, I found this video of a TED talk by Taryn.
Her work is quite amazing. Thought provoking, revealing and often slightly amusing or disturbing.
I will be spending a lot of time looking at her work.

I first saw the work of Tim Hetherington when I picked up his book Infidel in the book shop. I was amazed and inspired by his work from the very first page.
On my way in to work this morning I finished watching a documentary about his life and work, Which way is the front line form here. I urge you to watch it and see for yourself what an amazing individual he was.

They also run a number of awards/competitions that include the LensCulture International Exposure Awards that discovers, rewards, and promotes talented, new, emerging and established photographers.
There are few professional printing services around. For these guys,its more than just printing, its about creating a community, championing great photography and providing services and facilities for all levels of creative people and photographers.
I’ve used them to print everything from my newborns portraits to commercial work.
I first came across the work of Nick Onken a couple of years back. I saw a video about the creative spark on Lynda.com.
I loved his work, and his approach. His work for the charity Pencils of Promise have been a great inspiration for one of my own recent charity projects.
